Our Rip Tide Collar is our version of a slip collar. Our slip collars are made to easily slip over your dog's head, and tighten to a snug fit when pulled. Our slip collar feature a "D" ring to clip your leash and an "O" ring for the slip action. It also comes with a handy accessory loop for adding tags.
Mako Gear Rip Tide Collars are made from 1" Beta BioThane®. Beta BioThane® is a coated webbing that is water-proof, stink-proof, super durable, stronger and lighter than leather. Made in the USA, BioThane® Beta has a soft, easy-to-grip feel and is very pliable even in the coldest weather. Easy to clean and antimicrobial, so no need to worry about even the dirtiest outdoor activities with your dog.
For best fit with slip collars, measure your pups head at the widest point (behind the ears). Take that measurement and add 2 inches. This will ensure there is enough free space to get the collar on and off. Example: If your dog has a 17 inch head measurement you will order a 19 inch collar. Please make sure to double check you are ordering the correct collar size. We do not return or exchange collars that are the wrong size. You are responsible for checking correct collar/neck size as the buyer.
